About Sophie on trial in her new home
Sophie is on trial in her new home.
Meet Sophie a petite twenty two kilo female German Shepherd blend currently in care at Kurri Kurri. Sophie has been a family dog and is a loving and attentive female Shepherd who would be an ideal companion dog for a family or mature aged couple.
Being on the smaller side Sophie is easy to manage on lead and is obedient and very people focused. She prefers to be the one and only dog in the household but is tolerant of other dogs being in a foster home with several other rescue shepherds.
Sophie is now house trained and we can gather from her coat condition and fly struck tips of her ears she has been left in a yard all her previous life. She is enjoying the benefit of being an inside dog and we are looking for a home where she will be given the opportunity to be an inside dog.
So if you are looking for a gentle and very loyal German Shepherd who is only medium sized and weighin 22 kilos then Sophie is the dog for you.
Sophie is desexed, vaccinated C5 on heart worm preention and microchipped she will be re-homed with flea control and will be wormed and professionally groomed.

Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager Linda, who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog and Linda can be contacted on 0497 398 062.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
