I am a friendly guy who was brought to the shelter because my owners could not look after me anymore. My new family need to be aware I don't travel well and vehicles worry me quite a bit! Short trips to dog parks for example will help me learn that it is a positive experience to travel in the car. A lot of patience will be needed to help me overcome my worries.I love to play with toys balls are my favourite. If you throw a ball for me in my new back yard I will be your best friend forever. I would also like a daily walk around the neighbourhood beach or local dog park.I am quite strong so will need to be walked on a halti. This will help me slow down and walk calmly next to you. I would benefit from obedience classes as they will help me learn new things and also be a good chance for me to socialise with other dogs.I love to play with other dogs and I don't mind cats but would be best to have a home without any smaller pocket pet animals. I would also eed to eet potential doggy housemates before adoption to ensure we get along.I will need a secure yard with 5ft fences and gates to keep me safe. A large kennel out of the weather with soft warm bedding will also be needed.
