About Bosley ~ Mastiff x puppy (On Trial 22/3/15)
Bosley is a cruisey boy who just turned 8 weeks old. He's a Mastiff x so he'll grow up to be a large dog. He loves to play with his puppy friends and chilling out in the garden exploring. He will be great family dog and is suitable for children over 8 years old.
He is a healthy puppy and has been very well socialised with other dogs and puppies and gets along fabulously with dogs of all different breeds, sizes and ages. I don't have a cat but she is young enough to think of a cat as just another playmate.
Bosley needs go to a home with another friendly, medium or large dog to be his friend and teacher. He adores people so he needs to be allowed inside to be part of the family and to sleep inside in a cosy bed with his teddy. We recommend puppy training classes for all puppies.
Bosley needs 6ft high colourbond fencing with something solid underneath. He cannot go to rural fencing (eg: mesh or wire). Gates should have locks on them to discourage dog thieves (sad but true).
Ideally, we'd love to see him go to a home where there is someone that doesn't work full time so he doesn't have to spend too much time home alone. He is a little darling that will make some lucky family very happy.
As Bosley is not yet desexed, he is only available for adoption to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens because he'll need to be returned to our vet for desexing when she's 4 or 5 months old.
For more information or to meet Bosley, please contact their foster mum Robyn on 02 4953 7115 (preferred) or 0407 074 143 and please leave a detailed message if not answered straight away. Bosley is located in Glendale, NSW (Lake Macquarie).
Bosley's adoption fee is $450 and includes his desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
