About Oscar Wilde - has a must read Profile
Oscar Wilde - in foster care and available for adoption
Everyone loves Tuxies and we just had to rescue him from Blacktown Pound in mid January (ex #5611). Seriously we could not keep him tucked away for ever so it's time to get this boy his forever home.
Oscar Wilde is a perfect little Tuxedo boy who is a heartbreaker - yes he’s a lover. He’s super affectionate and this very nature gave this boy his rescue ticket out of Blacktown Pound.
We have videos of him jumping on staff and volunteers backs from up high and enjoying cuddles with lots of licks of arms and faces. Oscar just can’t get enough of human affection.
Oscar Wilde is loads of fun and full of antics and playful games. He’s a bit of a clown and the ‘life of the party !’ He’s sharing with others cats and is playful and boisterous with those that want to play and wrestle back. He’ll have a few sessions like this a day and then the next moment finds a quiet nook or tunnel for some rest and downtime. With the shyer more reserved cats he just keeps out of their way. When he wants human affection he will come and seek it out so be prepared to allow him plenty of lap time and cuddles.

ADOPTING ME: You must be able to provide me with a loving long term and safe home. I would be fine in an apartment as long as I didn't have free run of the balcony if it wasn't fully enclosed. Please ensure your house or apartment can contain a cat inside (ie fly screens etc).
Please remember that I have thought seriously about taking you on and when you take me home, I am committing to you for life. So, I hope you have thought seriously about this and are likewise planning on committing to me.
ABOUT YOU: Given you know all about me, my foster parents would like to know something about who my new parents are going to be. They have rescued me from death row and have given me a lot of love care and love. I know they love me and therefore want the best for me.
ABOUT US: AWL Western Suburbs branch wants to promote adoptions of cats from Blacktown Pound and to try to re-home them either directly from the pound or from our foster carers. If you live in the Greater Western Suburbs area and would like to help us, please feel free to contact us and find out how you may assist, including being a foster parent, joining the Western Suburbs Branch of the AWL or helping us fund raise. Without continued support from the public we can not expand with our aim of rescueing as many animals as possible from Blacktown pound.
