About Lexie
Lexie is a gorgeous young girl who was abandoned at the pound after she'd given her owners puppies. She looks like a miniature German Shepherd and she certainly seems like she has the intelligence of a working dog.
Lexie is a lovely, affectionate dog. She has a genuinely sweet nature and is proving herself great with young children. She is good with other dogs but isn't used to cats at all and is barking at the cat at her carers home. Lexie has obviously had very limited training and only knew how to sit, but in only a few days she's already showing vast improvement learning house rules and not to pull on lead. She is extremely receptive to training and direction from her owners and she will make a devoted and loving addition to any active family.
If you can give this lovely lady a forever home please contact us.

Our animals are rescued from various pounds and shelters and placed in Foster Care until a permanent home can be found. Our volunteer Foster Carers are located throughout Sydney, Australia and are only too happy to assist you.
DCH Animal Adoptions relies solely on our adoption fees and the generous support of the community to continue our rescue work. Many times, we are faced with large veterinary bills due to the illness and injury that comes along with looking after pound rescues.
If you would like to sponsor an animal or to donate to DCH to help us assist more animals in need, then please visit the following page:
