About Audrey ~ Bull Arab X ~ (on trial 20/6/15)
Hi there I am Audrey, Adoptable Audrey they call me! Yes I am a bigger gal, especially for my age of 9 months. but really that just means there is more of me to love. A big but gentle Bull Arab cross.
I have recently moved into town from the country and I am looking for someone that can show me round, and take me in as part of their loving home.
I have a beautiful sweet nature, and love burning off a bit of energy in the backyard but am also very laid back, especially for a pup. What makes me happy is just being around you, wherever you go, whatever you do, I will be with you, you know just like that song..
When it comes to fun and activities, be they indoors or out, I am up for anything.
Affection is my middle name and love being around people and snuggling up to them, I am also pretty good around other dogs.
During the day I like to play outside during the day but have been sleeping indoors of an evening, however I am pretty sure that if I have a nice warm and cosy room and bed outdoors I could also adjust to that, but during waking hours I really need to be an included as part of the family.
I am not overly keen on loud noises such as vacuum cleaners and lawn mowers, and not sure of livestock but I am sure with ongoing exposure and reassurance I will develop into a confident dog.
Boy, have also got the smarts as well, I have have learnt quite a few things since coming into care. Amongst my talents are neat tricks like sit, shake and even high-5. I am extremely proud of these skills and adore showing them off when the opportunity arises.
As with all dogs, especially younger pups, I will need to go to puppy school where I can socialise and learn new tricks and skills and cement the bond between me and my new family. This will also help ensure she has every opportunity to grow into a well adjusted and obedient member of the family.
With ongoing love and attention from a my new family to call , I will continue to be the perfect dog and would really love a home to call my own. If you think I can complete your family and can provide me with love and companionship then please look no further, I am ready and waiting.

MY OVERVIEW
I was rescued from Muswellbrook pound in January this year as a very underweight scared puppy of 5 months. Back then I was petrified of anything and everything and most of that has changed. I have built my weight up, am well behaved and housetrained.
I love food in general, but really benefit from sweet potato in my diet regularly, I also need a bit of zinc on my cute little pink nose.
Oh, one other thing I am a tad spoilt

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
