About Benjamin Bunny (R023) **Adopted**
Benjamin Bunny is a very sweet, handsome boy with a delightful personality and loves a good scratch behind the ears. His foster carer says he’s a beautiful rabbit who is easy to care for and bonds with his primary carer. She thinks he would thrive in a quiet environment where there is routine and stability - he already knows the daily routine in his foster home and enjoys it. He is not suitable for very young children who are too young to understand that even though a bunny feels soft, he doesn’t want to be cuddled all of the time! He enjoys the company of other animals and will even cuddle up to a rabbit friendly dog. He would love another desexed rabbit as a companion. Benjamin Bunny enjoys hopping around in air-conditioned comfort but also loves to free range in the backyard while his carer is outside with him. He hops around exploring, lies under the trees and when he’s had enough, jumps back into his hutch and lies down for a good rest.
Benjamin Bunny will need to eat mostly good quality hay, but also vegetables, leafy greens, fruit, seeds, roots and herbs to stay healthy. He will love it if you create playground tunnels for him. Rabbits love tunnels with different levels to jump on, hide away and to dig in and especially when you change it around from time to time. Sticks and bark are great to chew on. He will need at least 4 hours a day to roam freely around the house or bunny secured yard. Rabbits like a calm, stress free environment, so suit adult owners or quiet, older children. Benjamin Bunny is very easy to brush and will sit patiently while you clip his nails as long as you are gentle. You don’t even need to wrap him up!
He is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and toilet trained. His two storey, raised wooden hutch can move with him to his new home.
You can feel confident adopting with us because our animals come with a “lifetime guarantee” so if for any reason they are no longer able to stay in your care we will take them back without judgement.
