About Paris ~ On Trial 15/3/15
Introducing Paris - a sweet 10 week old mixed breed puppy. Her exact breeds are unknown but the vet thinks she might be a Cattle dog x Border Collie mix. \ Paris has a gentle nature, her foster mum says she’s a sooky la-la who thrives on cuddles. Paris loves to follow you around to see what you are doing, she sits and your feet and just wants to be your faithful pal. She is a very happy and friendly pup who is very gentle and easy going.
Paris is currently in foster care with 2 children - she loves playing with them and snuggling up with them afterwards for a nap. She is in foster care with 3 friendly dogs and a couple of cats and she is friendly towards everyone. She loves to play with toys and will play tug-of-war with the other dogs.
Paris loves to travel in the car, and she's very friendly when meeting new people. Once she gets older she would love to join you on family outings. As Paris is only a baby she still has her L plates on in the toilet training department but is picking up what to do very quickly. Paris is eager to learn and is learning to basic commands. She loves her food and therefore responds well to treat training. She will probably be a bit bigger than medium size when fully grown.
Paris would suit a family who are active and has a lot of time to spend to continue her socialisation as she grows older. Paris would love the companionship of another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot if there is no other dog to play with. She is very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. We always recommend puppy training classes to give your new family member the best start in life. All dogs and puppies need plenty of affection, exercise, and training.
Paris is an inside dog and needs to be allowed inside when her family is home. Paris needs to sleep inside even when older. Dogs and puppies enjoy being part of the family and get comfort from being inside with their humans.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
