Lani ~ greyhound (On Trial 9/5/15)

My name is Lani, I'm a 3.5 yo purebred greyhound and I love people, even children! I have so much love to give and I'll show you this through my constantly wagging tail, my little floppy moments (where I flip around on my back wanting to play) and through cuddling up to and on you at night, or whenever really!

From the moment I set my big brown eyes on someone, they have my love and it doesn't take me long until I'm super dooper comfortable with you! If you have another dog however, I'm gonna need to sniff them for a little while, but I'll grow to love them, I promise.

I'm mostly an inside dog as I just love to lay around with my foster brother and fellow greyhound, Uso. However, as soon as my foster mummy picks up my muzzle for walkies time, I just love to dance and flip around in excitement! Don't worry, I don't need a lot of exercise. My racing dogs are over, and I get pretty tired after only a short walk, which means home time, which means cuddle time with my foster family! I'm a bit of a bed hog, but I promise I'll lay next to you and keep you warm at night if you'll let me. I don't have to sleep in your bed but do need to sleep indoors.

I'm not very good at sitting or waiting, but I promise this isn't a problem as I'm too busy loving you to pay much attention! Also, my house training is coming along slowly and I still have the occasional accident inside, but once I get more confident with the stairs and going outside by myself, I'll be sure to take my toilet business outside.

I haven't met very many cats, but I have met birds and chooks and we don't get along too well unfortunately. I do love other dogs though, even the small ones who like to bark at me.

My ideal furever home would ideally be one where someone is always home to love me. I understand if you have to work though, so I will probably need another canine friend to play with, and distract me from missing you so much.
