About Millie
Meet Miss Millie..
This dog is AMAZING! She is affectionate, loyal, smart, obedient, dog and child friendly and a wonderful companion.
Millie and her daughter Jasmine were rescued from a rural pound, they were both skin and bones and completely starved (see photos attached). They have both since put on a good amount of weight and are doing much better now!
Millie is great with other friendly dogs, dog-savvy cats and children... she is such an amazing, laid-back and affectionate girl.
Millie also LOVES lying on (or next to) the couch with her foster mum watching TV dramas such as Downton Abbey :) She is a really lady!
She is great inside and outside of the home, she is well mannered and friendly at the dog park and such is just a joy to have around.
As Millie came from the pound we can not know her exact age, our vets think she is close to 5 years old however she could range from 5-7 years approximately.
She is extremely clever and obedient, but still has a general wariness when in new places and meeting new people but easily won over with some reassuring and fun words. She will be a wonderful and loyal addition to a very special family or individual.
Can you offer this amazing lady the loving forever home that she truly deserves??
Millie has been desexed, vaccinated, microchipped and treated with worm/flee prevention. She is located in Newport area in foster care. If you would like to meet Millie please follow the link and email us with some information about the home you can offer her and we will be in touch shortly.
Medical notes
Our vet believes that Millie had been bred from a few times in the past, at the time of desexing they discovered a mammary lump (which was removed at the time). The lump was sent off to the lab to be diagnosed and has come back as a malignant mass. As the lump has been removed (and it was the only one found) it should hopefully be the end of her 'lump' issues however it could mean that down the track she could grow another mass which her new owner would have to have their vet deal with appropriately. More information can be given on request.
Apart from that Millie is one healthy and happy pooch with LOTS of love to give!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
