About Tate
Tate is perfect for first time Great Dane owners or anyone who wants an easy going lovable companion. He loves going out for walks however he can get really excited when sees other dogs, so needs someone who will work on his lead manners. He is very friendly with people and other dogs but is untested around cats. He loves nothing more then being in your company and burying his head in your lap for head scratches. He has a pretty good recall and knows how to sit but could use some more basic training like lie down or stay etc. he makes cute noises when he yawns and moans when he relaxes it'll make you smile every time. He is very confident on tiles and stairs. If he will be sharing his home with another dog, he will need to be strictly separated at dinner time as he can resource guard his food. At the end of the day, like most Great Danes all he wants is your company and a comfy couch.
*not available for interstate or long distance adoption*
Medical notes
Tate does have an old leg injury that wasn't addressed by his previous owner and we are currently having a specialist look at him to ensure he gets the best treatment available and that he will be nice and healthy for his new home.
