About Buffy
Buffy found herself in the Pound at the grand old age of 14 years and as she was microchipped, had to stay at the Pound for two weeks just in case her owner came for her. She was in good condition so we were hopeful that someone was missing her badly and that she would go back to her original owner but no-one came for Buffy so, not one to leave an old lady in trouble, we bailed her out. Buffy is a grand old dame who loves her food and her very soft, cosy, comfy bed for daytime sleeping. She goes in and out of the doggy door and sniffs around the garden for a few minutes then wanders back for a drink or a little tidbit and then curls up in her bed for some serious daytime sleeping. Buffy loves being on her foster carer's bed at night and doesn’t snore or disturb you at all as she is a very sound sleeper. Buffy's final home will ideally be with someone who has another little companion dog, maybe a senior she can play with as she does still love to play if her mate is that way inclined. Alternatively she would be fine in a home where her owner is around a lot so a retiree who won’t leave Buffy on her own for hours is also ideal. She will be a wonderful companion for some very lucky person! Buffy is only tiny and does not weigh much. She does have an eye condition that is treated twice daily with eye drops to keep her eyes comfortable and her vision is limited as you would expect at her age. Buffy has a pretty coat that requires regular clipping and she is completely house trained provided she can get out using a doggy door or similar.
