About Jackson
Jackson is beautiful but, through no fault of his own, his owner's circumstances changed and he found himself needing a new home. Jackson loves a walk and he'll give you time to come home, put down your bag and put the shopping away, but then he'll sit politely at the front door taking little peeks over his shoulder to see when you are ready. Jackson knows you enjoy it as much as he does so considers he is really doing you a good service! Jackson is 100% house trained, gentle and sweet, loves children, other dogs, is a star at puppy park, is good on the lead and in the car and doesn't bark ... there really isn't a downside to this charming little man. Right now he is a fraction overweight, but his foster mum has put him on an exercise routine and so he is getting fitter and fitter by the day and the fitter he gets, the happier he will be. Jackson's new family will have to be committed to his new exercise routine but it is fun for the whole family. Due to his size, we wouldn’t want to rehome Jackson with children under 5 years old but grandkids are fine and he has proven quite the hit with hordes of dog-savvy grandbabies. Jackson had several teeth removed as they were rotten but that means he now has a brand new smile and has absolutely no problem with his chicken wing breakfast. Little Jackson needs either a small, gentle dog to cuddle with or someone who is at home most of the time and willing to make him part of their everyday life as he is too loving to spend time on his own. Did we mention he likes to be kissed on the forehead? He isn't a licker, but will give you tiny kisses on your chin if you cuddle him and talk gently to him, as if to say thank you. We’ve just found out Jackson is a keen swimmer so we are thinking of putting him in the Olympics!
