About Blaze ~ On Trial 7/3/15
My name is Blaze and I'm an 11 week old St Bernard x Cattle Dog mix puppy. \ I love kisses and cuddles so much that I put my paws on your shoulders for a big snuggle. My foster mummy says my tail wags at a hundred miles an hour. \ I am not phased by much in life - I’m so easy going that I really don’t have a care in the world. I love to play chasings with my sister Galaxy and my big foster brother who is a staffy – I love him a lot. I’m in foster care with a cat who I am gently curious about -we sniff each other nicely and then I go off and play games with my sister again. My foster mummy says I’m easily amused and that I have the sweetest face that melts her heart.
I’m in foster care with 2 children and I adore them. I can occasionally jump up on them to play but they remember that I’m just a baby and are teaching me to keep all 4 of my paws on the floor. They give me lots of cuddles and I enjoy that as I’m a big smoocher. We like to lay on the lounge and read books or play on the iPad. I’m a great sleeper and will fall asleep easily after a hard day of playtime.
My foster mum says I may grow up to be a very big adult as I have St Bernard mix in my genes so my foster mummy says I'm best suited to children above 5 years as I might knock over toddlers accidentally once I get bigger.
I would really love a furever home with a young friendly playful dog as a playmate and a good role model. I sleep well and soundly all night long. I'm only new to toilet training as I'm just a baby, so my new family will need to continue to train me on where to go to the toilet.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another dog or someone who is home a lot. I need to be allowed inside when my family is home and sleep inside. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.
My sister Galaxy, and my brothers Mustang, Sonic and Sega are also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please email morepaws4u@gmail.com. I am in foster care on the Central Coast, NSW and I am not available for adoption interstate.
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro-chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
