About Bandit
Hey, it’s Bandit...and I’m looking for my forever home. I’m happy to tell you a little about me and if your interested in what you see and read, would love to know more about you! I came into care with Wallys along with my sister Kira and brother Hudson and am believed to be ridgeback x staffy.
My foster home has 3 kids ranging from 8 – 16 yrs as well as 3 dogs which is great, because I get to play and rumble and burn lots of energy whilst I’m too little to go for walks. I’ve mastered the doggie door which lets me come and go inside whenever my foster family are home, which I love. Everyone has fallen in love with me in my new foster home and they give me so many kisses and cuddles, so I guess I must be pretty cute!
I am allowed to live both inside and outside as part of the family and sleep in my foster mum and dads bedroom next to their bed. I am learning that I need to do my business outside and am trying really hard. I’m hoping to be fully toilet trained by the time I head off to my new family. I have learnt to sit before getting my dinner or treats. My foster mum has introduced me to a raw diet slowly which I love. I especially love my chicken wings and sometimes forget that I am only allowed 1.....although lately, my foster mum has been giving me 2 because I'm a growing boy and my appetite is growing.
So this is what I’m looking for in my forever home....another doggie friend would be fantastic, but not a necessity. I would learn to adapt to being an only dog, as long as I had a loving family that saw me as part of the family and allowed me to live both inside and outside with them. A decent size yard where I could play and explore, and if I was to be an only dog, the opportunity to socialise with other friendly doggies.
I will need ongoing training and socialisation so that I grow up to be a well mannered sociable boy who will provide you with years of love and cherished memories. To kickstart my training, Wyong Dog Training Club will provide 3 free dog training sessions http://wyongdogtrainingclub.org.au/ . So please be sure to utilise this awesome gift which will benefit both you and me.
Bandit is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with his foster family.

When enquiring about Bandit, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
