Monty

Hi, My name is Monty, I preferred to be called Mr Monty as I am distinguised old chap with impeccable manners ;)

I am currently on a very special mission. You see, I have found myself given up by my owners due to personal circumtances, as much as I am heart broken, I must continue on the search and find the search for my perfect home. I am past my puppy phase well and truly so all I require is a nice home with a comfy dog bed and a human to shower me with pats (and food – I like food). As I mentioned I have great manners, I am not as agile as I used to be but I still manage to sit nicely for my dinner, walk perfectly on a lead and have learnt the ins and outs of being house trained. I was always an outside until recently, and boy do I lovvvve being inside chilling on my own dog bed watching TV with my foster human! Its great! I am not fussed on being a “guard dog”, barking is not my thing – I would rather watch the world go by and observe.

I met my foster mums foster kitten, it was an odd little creature – still don’t know what to make of it. I guess if I had to share my home with one of these strange little creatures I could learn to cohabitate. Due to some sight issues in one eye I am not suited to small dogs or children as I sometimes can run into things and get startled. I would prefer to have a lovely mistress to keep me company in my older years, I do love the companionship of a female dog. Male dogs tend to not understand me as much, they must see me as a threat since I am so handsome. But I am a very placid laid back chap.
