About Tammy
Tammy the Terrific Torti is a bundle of love and affection, who will wriggle her way into your heart with her beautiful patchy coat and gorgeous personality.
An excellent conversationalist, Tammy enjoys greeting you when you arrive home from work and will ask about your day in flattering detail. When you're not around, she is happy with her own company, as long as there are plenty of toys (and preferably some window ledges offering scenic views) to keep her entertained.
She goes from 0 to 100 in seconds when it’s play time, and goes back down to 0 just as quick when she’s had enough. She’s a big fan of the laser pointer and any toys she can really get her paws into!
This sweet darling is very much a people cat. The small amounts of time she has spent with other cats and cat-friendly dogs suggest she may be able to live with a furry friend in relative harmony, as long as she is allowed to have plenty of her own space (but she’s not a big fan of kittens). She has never scratched or bitten her foster carers, so would suit any household – with kids, with an older owner, a share-house, you name it! At her current foster home she’s in a small studio apartment by herself for most of the day, and she’s not bothered at all, as long as she gets a play and a treat at night to please her playful side.
Tammy's one true desire in life is to most importantly EAT EAT EAT and then second most importantly, find that special person with just the right patting technique, the right laptop to constantly sit on, and the right amount of patience to find her 1am kisses on your face endearing. Could you be the one?
Adoption details
We ask all people looking to adopt to fill an enquiry form.
You can receive this by emailing NSWadoptions@maggiesrescue.org or visiting our webpage www.maggiesrescue.org
We will then organise a time for you to meet with the foster carer and the pet you are interested in adopting.
Maggie's wants this to be a good experience for you, and we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog as your situation may not meet the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two week trial. At the end of this period we will transfer the microchip to your details and the adoption is complete.
Your pet is a Maggie's Pet for Life, please consider this before adopting.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
