Mustang ~ On Trial 11/3/2015

My name is Mustang and I'm an 11 week old St Bernard x Cattle Dog mix puppy. \ My foster mummy says I’m one of a kind! I am extremely gentle and I have a very soft and gentle nature. I love my snuggles with my family and I follow them around and sit at their feet. I like to copy what you do, so if you bounce your head up and down I will bounce my head too! My foster mummy waves at me and I follow her hand in great concentration, I put my paw on her hand to stop her waving and then we start the game again.

I’m a very chilled out puppy - my foster mummy calls myself and my brothers’ low maintenance and says we are just like two legged men! I love it when my ears get rubbed and so I rest my head on your hand and close my eyes. Everyone says I’m very sweet and adorable and I’m very clever because I’m learning to follow commands quite easily.

I’m in foster care with a few of my siblings and 3 other adult dogs and I get along well with them all. I’m also in care with 4 children of different ages and I could play with them all day long. I’m really gentle with them and I don’t jump up too much during puppy games. I’m a great sleeper – well it’s not hard to sleep well after lots of playtime.

My foster mum says I may grow up to be a very big adult as I have St Bernard mix in my genes so my foster mummy says I'm best suited to children above 5 years as I might knock over toddlers accidentally once I get bigger.

I would really love a furever home with a young friendly playful dog as a playmate and a good role model. I sleep well and soundly all night long. I'm only new to toilet training as I'm just a baby, so my new family will need to continue to train me on where to go to the toilet.

My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another dog or someone who is home a lot. I need to be allowed inside when my family is home and sleep inside. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.

My sister Galaxy, and my brothers Blaze, Sonic and Sega are also available for adoption.
