About Isla
(Not Available to be Transported Interstate )
Isla has a sweet personality. Loves being around family and children. She's in the middle of learning to not jump up on people to greet them, even though she is just so excited to meet new people. She gets along well with our 10 year old mini schnauzer and takes direction from him of where she can and can't go (I.e the kitchen) so she would be great with other dogs as she seems to quite enjoy her pack here (Rex, Isla and her sister missy). She is currently taking puppy training classes and is very treat oriented. She can sit, lie down, go to bed, stay (when motivated by a treat), and is learning to come when called (treat orientated as well) she is house broken and will happily walk to the door and wait to be let out. She is very playful and loves socialising with other dogs. She also loves toys she can chew on and her treat filled kong. She absolutely loves a good walk in the morning as this is one way that she lets out her energy and keeps her calm and focused for the rest of the day.She is crate trained, desexed, immunised, up to date with flea, tick and worming treatments. She is very comfortable with taking a bath when needed and has no problems with water or rain. Walks well on a lead. We love her so much and want nothing but the best for her. She loves affection and cuddles and we love giving them to her.
Isla will need ongoing training and socialisation so that she develops into a well-mannered and sociable girl who I'm sure will bring many years of love to her home.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Isla is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with her foster family.

When enquiring about Isla, please give us some indication of the type of home that she would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
