Callie on hold pending adoption.
Callie is a two year old desexed female German Shepherd blend rottweiler who has the most lovely sleek black coat and is only petite in size weigh in at 28 kilos. Callie is currently in care at Kurri Kurri and is social and playful with her fellow rescue shepherds.
Callie was a rescue from a local family who unfortunately did not have the time to care for her and she was left in a yard with inadequate fencing and was chained. \ Callie has not attempted to leave her foster carer's yard and is happy just to be around her human pack.
Callie is attentive and is house trained and is easy to manage on lead she will need a committed owner who will ensure she is given daily exercise and inclusion in the family home. Callie would require secure six foot colorbond fencing.
Callie is not good with cats, pocket pets or livestock.
Callie is good around children and is not a barker and being on the smaller size would be an ideal children's dog. With her easy to manage sleek coat and loving nature she would be a wonderful family dog.

Callie is a desexed female German Shepherd blend who has been C5 vaccinated, microchipped, wormed and flea treated. She is also on heart worm prevention and will come professionally groomed when rehomed.
Adoption details
We have an Adoptions Manager Linda, who screens all prospective candidates as to their suitability to adopt a German Shepherd Dog and Linda can be contacted on 0497 398 062.
The successful candidate who adopts one of our dogs is provided with an information kit, ongoing support, training and advice on all aspects of feeding, training and general assistance to ensure both the new owner and our rescued dog settle into their home.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
