About George *On Trial in His New Home*
*GEORGE IS CURRENTLY TRIALING HIS NEW HOME - NO MORE ENQUIRIES/APPLICATIONS PLEASE* Meet gorgeous George!! This handsome dog will make you fall in love all over again if you can just see past his greying muzzle and into his wonderful heart!
At 8 years young George still has plenty of life in him yet, apart from a bit of stiffness in his back legs he is in excellent health. Sadly a divorce has left him needing a new forever home, so we’ve promised to find him somewhere special where he can chill and enjoy his twilight years. George is loveable, happy and totally thrives on human contact and likes being spoilt. \ He loves a romp and a play especially when there are doggie toys involved and he’s great around children. Currently in foster care with a male Rottweiler and a female Cavoodle George thoroughly enjoys the company of other dogs and would be more than happy sharing his forever home with one. He can be a tad obsessed around birds so an avian-free household would be best and unfortunately he feels the same way about cats, so no cats either.

Generously affectionate, this gorgeous fella still manages to bring joy to everyone who meets him. All the qualities that people so often look for in the ‘perfect’ dog can be found in George - he knows “sit” and will wait to eat and he doesn’t normally jump up on people unless he’s asked to. He loves going for a walk and is terrific on a lead. He is not a “yapper”, in fact he rarely barks though he can be a “talker” which is amusing.
Being a Labradoodle George hardly loses any hair though he’ll require a good brush once a week and a clip a few times a year to keep his coat in tip-top condition. As he has always enjoyed an indoor / outdoor lifestyle we’d want to see this continued in his forever home – he’s housetrained and quite likes lazing on the couch if he can get away with it! \ George eats dryfood from an elevated bowl – there’s no scoffing as he has lovely manners, and he takes treats gently too. George would be best suited to a home with a friendly doggie companion if his humans weren't going to be home a lot.

Adoption details
Please Note: SARG and our animals for adoption are located in Mildura in North-West Victoria.
Our adoption process commences with completing an Application form which you'll find at: www.sarg.net.au
The Application is then reviewed, references checked and a yard check done, then, if there are no issues, a meet and greet is organised. If all goes well the last stage is a 28 day home-trial to make sure that everyone is happy.
If the trial is successful our “stray” is then officially considered adopted and the microchip transferred into the new owners name.
If anything goes wrong SARG will always take back one of our animals :)
