About Como ~ On Trial 12/4/15
My name is Como and I'm an 11 week old wolfie x bull arab puppy. I'm from a litter of pups born and raised in foster care after my mum Bella was rescued from death row at the pound. My foster mummy says I'm a bit of a chubby boy as I love my food so much. I’m also a tad clumsy, but then with paws as big as mine it’s easy to trip over myself! I’m very confident and I love to instigate play with my siblings or anyone else who is around. I love toys and will play tug of war with my siblings.
My foster mummy says I have a mischievous grin but I think of myself of a charmer as I’m very people focused. I love people of all ages and adore playing with children. I will put my paws up on your lap for ear tickles and pats. I particularly love big dogs, my foster brother is huge and we play together which I like.
I'm going to be a big boy so my foster mummy says I'm best suited to children above 5 years as I might knock over toddlers accidentally. My mum Bella is only a small wolfie cross (border collie height) but my brothers and I are all very big so I have some big doggy genes in my breed mix.
I would really love a furever home with a young friendly playful dog as a playmate and a good role model. Although I love playing I am also a really solid sleeper and I sleep soundly with the other dogs all night long. After play time, I take many long puppy naps and I sleep well. I'm only new to toilet training as I'm just a baby, so my new family will need to continue to train me on where to go to the toilet.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another dog or someone who is home a lot. I need to be allowed inside when my family is home and sleep inside. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.
My mum Bella, my sister Mouse, and my brother Aspen are also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please contact my foster mum Jo on 0427 695 104 or email Jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com. I am in foster care near Wyong, NSW (Central Coast) and I am not available for adoption interstate.
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro-chipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
