About Aspen ~ Wolfie X Puppy ~ On Trial 18/4/15
My name is Aspen and I'm an 11 week old wolfie x bull arab puppy. I'm from a litter of pups born and raised in foster care after my mum Bella was rescued from death row at the pound. My foster mummy says I'm a big softie and a licker as I love to sit on your lap and give you lots of puppy kisses. I’m going to be a very big boy but this doesn’t stop me from calling myself a lapdog. I’m very affectionate and I have a huge puppy smile on my face 24 x7 – my foster mummy says my smile goes from ear to ear! I’m a big wager and my tail never stops as I run around the house and yard playing with my brothers and sister.
I'm in foster care with a few of my siblings and 2 older dogs and I love them all. Like all my siblings, when I first meet bigger dogs I can sometimes be a bit of a scardy cat, but it only takes me a few minutes to get my confidence back and then I’m best friends with them.
I love people and adore playing with children, I like to lick their toes and see what toys are in their toy box to play with. I will sit at the kids’ feet and look at them smiling, waiting to see what games we are going to play next. I’m very curious about what’s going on in the house and I’ll tag along behind you to supervise.
I'm going to be a big boy my foster mummy says I'm best suited to children above 5 years as I might knock over toddlers accidentally. My mum Bella is only a small wolfie cross (border collie height) but my brothers and I are all very big so I have some big doggy genes in my breed mix.
I would really love a furever home with a young friendly playful dog as a playmate and a good role model. Although I love playing I am also a really solid sleeper and I sleep soundly with the other dogs all night long. After play time, I take many long puppy naps and I sleep well. I'm only new to toilet training as I'm just a baby, so my new family will need to continue to train me on where to go to the toilet.
My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another dog or someone who is home a lot. I need to be allowed inside when my family is home and sleep inside. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.
My mum Bella, my sister Mouse, and my brother Como are also available for adoption.
If you would like to meet me, please contact Jo on 0427 695 104 or email Jo.payne.aus@hotmail.com. I am in foster care near Woy Woy, NSW (Central Coast) and I am not available for adoption interstate.
My adoption fee is $450 and includes my desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and micro-chipping. You can see all our available dogs atwww.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
