About Angel
Angel is a beautiful girl - she is a Chihuahua x Jack Russel and she is quiet, sweet and affectionate. Angel came to us from the pound having been found as a stray. Although she has Jack Russel in her breeding, she is quiet and calm and does not have the energy levels of a terrier.
Unfortunately, poor angel was used as a breeding dog and has had many litters in the past. She has been desexed now so will never have to endure back-to-back breeding ever again. She is a nurturing and kind-hearted little dog and provided lots of comfort to little Nutella in the days they were first in care.
Angel would be the perfect dog for any family - she loves to cuddle, she is very well behaved and she just needs to be loved.

Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Moorooka or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant xrays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heart worm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Angel came into our care with severe dental disease and flea allergy dermatitis. She has had a dental surgery and full blood tests. She is recovering well from her flea allergy and is getting a nice shiny black coat again.
Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our dogs, please email chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com for an Adoption Application. From there, we will be in contact with you within 48 hours to talk further about your application and if successful, to arrange a meet and greet.
Prior to adoption, all dogs will need to have a meet and greet with their family and a house check will be done. All adoptions are subject to a four week trial to ensure your new friend fits in well with your household.
We have many dogs that are in foster care and are not yet ready to be listed for a variety of reasons. If you have a good idea of what you are looking for in your new dog please email us at chihuahuarescueqld@gmail.com and let us help you match a dog to your needs.
