About Nutella
Nutella came to our rescue via the council pound. She had been a long term stray and had been caught in a dog trap. When she first arrived, she was terribly afraid of humans and really timid. However, it only took a matter of days for her to come out of her shell and show us her beautiful personality.
Nutella has been deprived of love for so long that now she is making up for it. She is sweet, cuddly and very affectionate. She loves giving little licks and kisses and she paws you when she thinks you aren't patting her enough.
Nutellas foster carer sent us this message about her:
"Nutella has settled down really well, gets on with the other dogs big and small. She loves playing, especially with teddies and soft toys. She really needs a family with young children and other dog(s).
She is no longer on the lead when she goes out, but makes no attempt to run away, in fact, she comes tearing back as soon as you call her. She has a great appetite and will eat anything! Very cuddly, loves sitting and sleeping with people."
Nutella has turned into the perfect family dog - she would do great with gentle children. She is quiet and sociable and loves other dogs and cats.

Medical notes
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs have been fully health checked by our vets. We offer a free post-adoption health check with Greencross Vets at Moorooka or Indooroopilly hospitals. This gives you the opportunity to talk directly to the vet about any questions you may have. We provide all veterinary records for each dog, including copies of blood tests, any relevant xrays and medical notes.
All Chihuahua Rescue Queensland dogs are desexed, vaccinated and microchipped. We test all our dogs for heart worm and treat them with regular parasite prevention.
Nutella is currently in foster care recovering as she had alot of sores and lesions on her body when she was found. These were nothing serious and her coat should grow back as if nothing ever happened.
