About Alfie
Hey, I'm Alfie....I am what you would call a 'mini poodle' and my foster mum says that I'm a handsome boy. My foster mum has decided that I am now ready to take the next step and find my very own forever home.
I can be quite shy with new people and dogs but am very friendly and easy going. I love to go for walks (as long as your not a power walker)...or maybe I should say 'stroll'. I love the company of other dogs and will happily reside with cats also, they don't bother me and happy to chillax with them in the sun. Being on my own is not something I cope well with, so would really need to have another furry friend in my home to keep me company while my humans are at work/school. I will admit, I've been a bit spoilt and allowed to snooze on the lounge and also love to sleep inside at night, so am really looking for a home where I will also be allowed to do this...(I'm pretty sure all Seniors are allowed this privilege)
As far as food goes, I'm not fussy and will eat what I'm served up. I do really enjoy the raw diet that my foster mum has been giving me, but have had a few teeth removed just recently and it can become difficult when it comes to bones. Chicken wings are nice and soft though and will enjoy those.
So if you do decide that I may be your perfect companion and would like to welcome me into your home, your adoption fee will cover desexing, worming, flea treatment, registration and vaccinations.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Alfie is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with his foster family.

When enquiring about Alfie, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
