About Charles
Meet the amazing little boy Charles.
When we first met Charles sitting in a local pound we honestly thought he was a senior dog, he looked sad, scared, old and withdrawn. But as soon as we rescued him and placed him in a loving foster home, the real Charles came out and he was the lovable, energetic and playful pup he should have been all along.
Charles is a beautiful natured boy, he has the gentle, loving nature that most Cavalier King Charles possess but can be a little bit shy with new people.
He is not snappy or aggressive in any way, just extremely timid to new people and on occasion but once he feels safe there is no getting rid of him.
Charles is happiest when snuggled up on the couch as close as he can get to his beloved people. He barely barks, is playful and loves other dogs.
He also enjoys playing in water and is will come when called if off leash.
Charles is pretty much 100% toilet trained indoors, he has only had 1 or two minor accidents during the early days of foster care but has since been fully house trained.
Charles was suffering from a severe case of flee allergic dermatitis as he was infested with flees and never treated. His skin has since recovered dramatically however is not yet 100% back to normal.. with regular washes, a good diet and some added nutrients to his diet (such as flaxseed oil) our vets feel that his condition should get a lot better.
Charles will follow you everywhere you go, like a shadow and is looking for a forever home that will love him and spoil him with TLC!
