About Oggie Doggie (On Trial 9/3/15)

Meet Oggie! Oggie is a healthy, active and friendly boy who is very smart and an extremely fast learner.
Oggie’s colouring is brindle and white. He is learning lead skills, he waits for food, sits on command and with hand signal. Despite being well behaved, Oggie is still very much a typical pup.
Having lived with three young children and a household which included a German Shepherd, a Pug and a cat, we know that Oggie has good behavioural and social skills in these situations.
Oggie is very low maintenance with a coat that can easily be cared for by just a bath and the occasional brushing. He will grow up to be a medium to large size adult. Oggie has been an inside dog and would be happy as an only dog given plenty of love, attention and exercise, but wouldn’t mind sharing the love with other animals in the home.
Currently in foster care in Forbes. However, Oggie's foster carer is moving and he will soon be in need of a new carer. Oggie is ready for adoption now.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
