About Troop
Meet Troop...
He’s an 18 month old Kelpie X who, after his last family sadly separated has found himself looking for a new family to love.
All the hard work has already been done with this beautiful boy, he’s house trained, knows how to sit, stay, shake, he’s casual on a lead (after the initial excitement of a walk where’s off), LOVES car rides, water, and just hanging out with his people.
He is a good boy and looks to people for guidance and reassurance.
He’s cool calm and clever and if you’re sitting at your computer desk he’ll gently walk over to you and lift your arm off the keyboard reminding you he is ready for a pat, but once you’ve acknowledged him he’ll go and sit down and wait for you to finish.
While in foster care he’s living with two large dogs male & female and to other foster puppies but is best friends with the house cat. He gets along with everyone has shown no food aggression in fact is happy sharing his food with the pups.
In one day he learned from his foster brothers and sister to sit and wait for dinner until told to eat. (I suspect he may have already had some practice at this prior to coming into care, but if not is a super-fast learner!)
Being Kelpie X Troop will need someone (preferable a family) who are active and enjoy including him in their daily exercise activities, as without this may fret and get bored. He will need to be a part of the family and made to feel included.
If you are looking for a loyal gentle loving addition to your family home please complete an adoption application to arrange to come and meet beautiful Troop.
