About Hollie (On Trial 1/3/15)~ dachshund, 1 year old
Hollie is a 1 year old dachshund x. She follows you around everywhere and just wants to be with you. She can be timid at times and it takes her a while to trust, but once she does she will be your friend for life.
Hollie shares her foster home with 2 other small dogs and while she was a bit wary at first she now gets on great with them playing, chasing and wrestling.
Hollie didn’t have the best start to life but, since she has been in foster care she is really coming out of her shell and showing her happy and playful side. She came into rescue with her 2 puppies who have now found their forever homes. Now it's Hollie's turn to settle down into a loving forever home.
Hollie would be great with someone who is home a lot or in a home with another small friendly dog to keep her company. She is a sweet gentle girl with a playful side and will bring you lots of happiness.
For more information or to meet Hollie, please contact her foster carer Karen by email plumb2a@bigpond.com. Hollie is in foster care on the Central Coast of NSW 2250 and is available for adoption interstate.
Hollie's adoption fee is $450 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
