Dakota is a very special little girl who came to us with a horrific injury to her front leg which was never treat or healed, she suffered and much pain. We had her X-rayed and lookd at by a specialist who decided that amputation was the best course of action, due the messy broken bones and damage done. On Friday the 20th Feb she had her front leg removed and by Saturday the 21st Feb she was running around playing, happy and healthy and she continues to heal and get better everyday.

She will need a very special person or family who are prepared for a little extra patience accommodating her special needs, but to Dakota she is completely fine, she runs and jumps and plays and wrestle, although now its without pain. Her body is strong and muscle are used to not adding weight to that leg, she goes up and down stairs fine, but we prefer low set house. She jumps in and out of the car fine, but we prefer someone not afraid to give her a little help if she gets tired. So you see, not much more extra work, just common sense.

Dakota is house trained and would prefer to be inside and out, she is great with kids and easy to train around cats, and she LOVEs other dogs. Viszla's are wonderful family pets, very sought after in Europe, and the smallest of all the utility hunting type dogs. Although the only thing this little girl will ever hunt is the special treats you have hidden away.
