Adoption information
I've been adopted!
About Kelly ~ border collie, girl, 4yo (On Trial 4/4/15)
Kelly is a 4 year old, female, border collie x. She loves playtime and is always ready for a game. She also loves human company. She enjoys playing with other dogs even if the other dog doesn't want to play; Kelly will convince them to join in the fun.
Kelly's favourite treat is riding in the car or ute, in the passenger seat of course (never on the back of a ute, despite her photos). \ She also loves running , swimming , meeting people, and trips to the beach! Did I mention meeting people? Kelly loves all people, especially children. She also enjoys making friends with all the dogs that she meets.
Kelly is not used to being inside the house, but most dogs love spending as much time as possible with their people so I'm sure she would learn to love being inside with you if given the opportunity. Kelly is a very clever girl and is keen to learn and already sits and shakes paws and can't wait for you to teach her more.
Kelly will make a great companion for any active person or family who will take her for walks, trips to the beach or park, and involve her in their lives.
For more information or to meet Kelly, please contact Vicky by email vdavies93@gmail.com. Kelly is in foster care in Kurri Kurri, NSW (west of Newcastle) and is available for adoption interstate.
Kelly's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
