Mouse ~ On Trial 4/6/15

My name is Mouse and I'm a 5 month old wolfie x bull arab puppy. I'm the smallest of a litter of pups born and raised in foster care after my mum Bella was rescued from death row at the pound. My foster mummy says I'm cheeky and spirited and a bit of a tom-boy - with so many brothers to rough-house with I say that if you can't beat them you've got to join them! I love other dogs even if I'm only half their size - I dart around the house and make them chase me and try to keep up. We play tug of war with toys and about half of the time I let them win as I'm good at playing fair (and it's all about equality right?).

I'm in foster care with 3 older dogs, and I've met cats too. I like the cats, particularly Shmoo who is the same colour as me so is very cool. Shmoo tells me who is boss by swiping at me if I'm too cheeky and so I hide or I bounce around and bark to ask her to play with me. Life is about winning friends over using all the charm I have. When I first meet bigger dogs I can sometimes find them very scary, but once I realise they won't hurt me I adore them!

I would really love a furever home with a young friendly playful dog as a playmate and a good role model. Although I love playing I am also a really solid sleeper and I sleep soundly with the other dogs all night long. After play time, I take many long puppy naps and I sleep well. I'm only new to toilet training as I'm just a baby, so my new family will need to continue to train me on where to go to the toilet.

I love people, and I am particularly found of running around with the kids in my family - I'm in foster care with 4 children and I love them all. When I was younger people thought I was deaf, but I just have selective hearing!! Although I'm a wolfie cross I'm pretty small (like my mum Bella) so I'll probably only be medium height when fully grown.

My foster mum says I would best suit a furever home with another friendly playful dog or someone who is home a lot. I am very social and too young to be left alone for long periods of time. I need to be allowed inside the house when my family are home, although I'm actually quite happy to sleep outside on warm nights which my foster mummy says makes me very adaptable. I would love to go to puppy-training classes when I’m a little older as my foster mum says they will give me the best start in life. I will need plenty of affection, exercise, and training from my new family.
