About Hope on hold pending adoption
Hope is on hold pending adoption.
This gentle female German Shepherd was left at a local animal shelter on the Mid North Coast and her owner failed to collect her so we have taken her into our care and she is now looking for a forever home.
German Shepherd dogs are loyal, intelligent and very much people focused dogs. They need to be with their human pack and Hope is just the dog to be a loyal companion dog for an older family or a single person home. She would also be a good companion dog for an older male dog to keep each other company. Hope still enjoys a morning walk and is house trained.
Hope is at the mature age of six years is a pure bred German shepherd but not registered bred and is a stock coat (short), who is gentle and affectionate. Hope is living with a labrador in her rescue home and is tolerant and social with him. She probably would best be suited to go to a home as either the only dog or with male dogs of similar size.
Hope was not microchipped when collected from the Animal Shelter so we have had the local vets determine her age and we have christened her HOPE as she needs to look to the future to find a forever home.
So if you love the German Shepherd breed and understand that they need to be an integral part of the family and not just left as yard dogs then please give Linda a call to find out more about Hope.
Medical notes
Hope is microchipped, vacinated C5, on heart worm prevention. She has been flea treated, wormed and is on tick prevention being on the mid north coast.
Arrangements can be made for Hope to be brought down to Port Macquarie for viewing and she will be hydrobathed and groomed prior to going to her forever home.
