About Kira
Kira is a 5 y/o young female Siberian husky who loves to PLAY and TALK!
Whether it be indoors or outdoors she is always up for a game with her foster brothers, and when they start – She makes sure that she has the last tackle and laugh.
A loving affectionate girl that loves her human time as much as her play time.
She is very active young lady that would require a family/owner who shares the same lifestyle with her. She is great on a lead (she is currently being walked on a Halti lead vs. collar lead or body harness), she is very curious while on her walks – she does love to stop and smell the flowers (or roll in them, depends on her mood).
She isn't too phased by other dogs passing by, and with slight correction she will lose focus of the other dog and continue on with her walk quite easily.
Kira gets a little excited and very happy when its dinner time but well-mannered while she is eating, she is aware which bowl is hers and will tend to that bowl and happily eat all her food until she is done. She is on a dry food diet predominantly and receives a red meat serving once a week which she loves and will do a little doggy dance just before serving.
Kira spends her day outside whilst her humans are at work but also spends a lot of time inside and sleeps indoors with her brothers. She is toilet trained, and has no issue sleeping through the night (11pm – 6am) without needing to be let outside. She has no desire to jump fences, or dig while she is outside, she just loves talking to our neighbors dogs through the fence.
She loves her toys especially if it’s one she can play tug-of-war with. Otherwise she is happy watching TV, She will sit in quietness with her arms crossed over (this is very cute in real life!).
Like a lot of dogs Kira will do any trick for a pigs ear treat, for that she can “shake, sit, stay and down” when she thinks she has done enough tricks to warrant a treat and still hasn't received one, she will let you know through a little howl. Kira is dog social and has no issue's with other dogs at the dog parks, She is also good with children.
No Cats or Pocket Pets.
