About "Venus" Purrfect Match
Venus is a quiet girl who is relaxed and confident. She is the kind of cat who is queen of all she surveys. She loves having her neck and chin rubbed, and will sometimes present her head for a royal scratch.
She has an unusual and very active Manx (short) tail. Her other unusual feature is a tabby "M" on her forehead, despite being a tortoiseshell. She is deceptively large and rangy, with big paws. She very much reminds me of a Lynx or mountain cat.
Venus has an exceptionally thick, super-soft blue & cream tortie coat in lovely patterns.
This girl is quite self-sufficient and mature, usually content to lie around during the day, but enjoys a game of "chasey" when the mood takes her too. She will "chirrup" to acknowledge you or when she is about to be fed but is generally not a talkative cat.
Venus has low activity levels during the day and while not a lap cat, she will settle near you and keep you company. She will tolerate other easy going felines with patient supervised introduction, but is really only interested in forging bonds with her human caregivers/ family.
Venus would suit someone who wants a laid back companion. She particularly tends to gravitate towards women.
The photos of her with a pink ID collar were taken in the pound - she was "held over" past her due date, and we are lucky to have her with us.
Venus has a healthy appetite and is litter trained.
She would be the perfect no-fuss addition to a lucky household. She is located with her foster carer in SEVEN HILLS.
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society.
Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
