About Shanti (On Trial 8/3/15) ~ Ridgeback x puppy
Shanti, 10 week old female Ridgeback mix. She has a distinctive ridge on her back that gives her a unique look along with her pretty face and gentle personality. Shanti loves to be with you and to sit on your lap whenever she can and gives you lots of puppy kisses and cuddles. She loves to play with her toys and chase a ball, she also loves to get into the paddle pool and have a splash around. She is a very loving and gentle pup. She enjoys playing with her sister Isabella (also available) and our other dogs of all sizes and ages.
Shanti is a ridgeback x mix but she is small at 5kgs and I'm not sure how big she will grow but a good sized secure yard would be perfect for her. She knows how to use a doggy door to let herself inside and outside when she feels like it but she is kept inside of a night time to keep her safe while she is a puppy.
Shanti would love another dog as a companion or maybe a stay at home family member to make sure she doesn't get bored and lonely all on her own. Like all puppies, she would benefit from puppy school.
Shanti still needs to have her 2nd vaccination and to be desexed at our approved local vets, so she is available for adoption only to Newcastle, Lake Macquarie, Central Coast and Port Stephens. Not available for interstate adoptions.
If you feel you can give Shanti the loving home she needs, please contact her foster carer, Krystina via email krystina_ws@hotmail.com. Shanti is in foster care in Tingira Heights NSW 2290 \ (Lake Macquarie, south of Newcastle) in the Lake Macquarie area.
Shanti's adoption fee is only $450 and includes her desexing, vaccinations, flea and worm treatments, and microchipping. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
