About Eugene Noodles
Mr Eugene Noodles is a special boy with an unusual name! At only one year old he has had quite a tough start to life, although the circumstances we aren’t completely aware of. It seems as though this poor boy has had an injury to his head at some point, and also his tail that unfortunately now is just a little stump! Despite the colouring in the photos this boy is actually a beautiful black and white and when his “kennel coat” comes out will lose most of the brown patches. Eugene needs a home that can give him the TLC he needs – the world is an exciting but sometimes scary place for him and he needs a home that can provide him with a stable routine and lots of love, as well as good dinners to get some weight on him. He is absolutely adorable, give him a neck scratch and he is putty in your hands, give him a cuddle and he will snuggle in with delight. He loves teddy bears, and making a nest out of his blankets and toys, although he will find the strangest positions to sleep in and would rather his head hang off the side! In fact, he would prefer to laze around than go for a walk, he should really be called “Eugene Couch Potato” than Eugene Noodles! Having already been in a foster home he is used to all the household noises, and is toilet trained. He will also be alright given some toys and a quiet space if you need to go out for a couple of hours.
Eugene would be best suited to a home without children or other dogs. We would suggest at this point he would be better in a home without cats also – being such a little dude he would like the spotlight only on himself! Eugene did not cope in kennels and is in emergency foster but we need a home for this special guy ASAP – our foster carer can only look after him for a short time. He has had quite a journey to get to us and the sooner he is in a permanent loving home the better for Mr Noodles! Adoption details
Once we have found your new greyhound we will send you an application form to complete and return. Then we will arrange a house check. It is important that the right hound goes to the right home! We can arrange for you to meet the dog/s and they can meet your family and/or other pets. Our hounds go “on trial” with your family for a minimum of 2 weeks. We have dogs that are small dog and cat friendly.
We expect greyhounds to be 'indoor dogs' and not left alone for long periods of time. Ideally they would have a doggy or human friend for company most of the time.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
