About Buster
My name is Buster and I’m a 2.5 year old Pugalier (Pug x Cavalier). I grew up in a family as an only dog, but since coming into foster care with Wally’s, I now have 3 other dogs to keep me company and play with, and I LOVE it! I also get to spend lots of time inside when my foster family are home, which is something I never really got to do in my other home because one of the little people had allergies.
I loveeeee people and enjoy a good belly rub and lots of pats. My foster mum tells me I have a smooshy face and is always kissing me, but I don’t mind. I’ll even sneak in a kiss back! My new doggie friends love to wrestle with me and play chasings outside which is great and makes the day go a whole lot quicker while my foster family are at work and school. There are 3 kids in my foster home and they all love dogs and give me kisses and cuddles every morning before they go to school.
I really like it there, but I know my foster family want me to have a special family of my very own, so they can help more doggies just like me. So here are a few things you need to know about me....
1. I love my bed....It came with me from my previous home, and I need it to come with me to yours. I even have a kennel that my foster mum would like you to have as well.
2. I like to sleep inside....I’m allowed to sleep in my foster mum and dads room, at the end of the bed on the floor (on my bed) and as soon as it’s morning time, I’m allowed up on the bed for morning cuddles.
3. I know when you say ‘Buster, sit’ that I have to plant my butt on the floor before I get any kind of treat/food/praise.
4. I love to go for walks and enjoy meeting new doggie friends along the way.
5. I would love to have a playmate in my new home, it’s just so much fun to have another furry friend to play with.
6. My foster home has a doggie door which I know how to use really well now. I’m getting quite clever in taking myself out to the toilet because my foster mum doesn’t like finding puddles inside.
Wally's like all of our rescues to be adopted into families that will continue their socialisation and allow their dogs inside of the home on a regular basis to ensure that they feel part of the family. This is particularly so if they are to be an only dog.
Buster is located on the Central Coast of NSW where he lives with his foster family.

Please contact Vanessa via email only should you wish to meet Buster. Email will ensure a faster response.
When enquiring about Buster, please give us some indication of the type of home that he would have with you. We are interested in things such as other animals (past and present), children who may have contact with the dog, whether you own or rent your home, what opportunities for socialisation outside the home your dog would have, how much you/someone is home and most importantly, why you feel this dog may be suitable for you.
Wally's Dog Rescue put a lot of time and effort into ensuring our dogs/pups are sociable and made to feel part of the family, so in considering adoptions, these are the type of things we will be looking for in a new family.
