About Aaron ~ fox terrier, 2 yo (on trial 21/7/15)
Hi, I'm Aaron, a male, 2yo, old tri-colour fox terrier in perfect health. I like walks, runs, fetch and anything that involves human interaction. I am very playful, have heaps of energy and will play for as long as I can. I like other dogs and play well with them except when I am eating, so just feed me away from other dogs, simple.
As I am still young and am still learning but I sit and stay for my meal, will come when I am called and sit when you ask.
I love being outside, and I am ok outside on my own. I do need high fences. If you leave me inside alone it's best to give me some toys and put away things that you don't want me to chew such as shoes.
I am basically house trained. I may have the occasional whoops until I settle in, but if you give me access to the outdoors and give me some guidance I'm sure all will be fine.
I am an inside dog and sleep inside on my own bed, which I will bring with me. I'll also bring my own teddy and other toys. My favourite thing is fetch. I will fetch all day!
I am protective of my yard and will bark at strangers. My ideal home has a grassy, shady yard for me to play during the day and people who welcome me inside and give me as much attention as I like to give them.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
