About Mollie ~ purebred border collie (Trial 18/2/15)
Mollie is 2.5 year old, female, purebred Border Collie. She is very affectionate, loves pats and cuddles and will lay on the grass with you all day if given the chance. Mollie loves children and most other dogs, is very gentle and is currently living with a 4 and 7 year old. Mollie is extremely smart and loves to please. She would be best in a home with a loving family.
Mollie enjoys rounding things up and especially loves to run and run. She is extremely fast but comes back when you call her name. Her favourite thing to do is go to the beach, run along the water and play with other dogs. She loves playing tug of war with her rope toy and chasing the water from the garden hose.
Mollie has lovely table manners and will sit when told before being fed. She is learning to walk nicely on lead and will stop to sit before crossing the road. She must be inside during storms as she can jump tall fences if outside during thunder.
Mollie would do extremely well on a property. If in a suburban house she will need at least an hours walk daily as she has a lot of energy so an active person or family is a must. She would do best in a family with no pocket pets or cats.
For more information or to meet Mollie please phone foster carer Kat on 0419791445 or email kat_skeels@hotmail.com. Mollie is in foster care in Nelson Bay, NSW 2315 (Port Stephens). She is available for adoption interstate.
Mollie's adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, microchipped, and lifetime registered. You can see all our available dogs at www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
