About "Cosette" - Purrfect Match
Cosette is a beautiful, gentle and extremely good natured young dark tortie who was rescued from Blacktown AHF after being left behind by a another group who took the kittens she came in with. Cosette came into PM care after 30+ days in the pound with a stringly dry coat and seriously underweight.
Cosette has a fine, tangle free seasonal coat which will fluff up beautifully in the colder months and require a weekly brush to keep her looking at her best. She is easy to groom and offer physical affection to, happy to be carried and cradled in the lap like a baby once she was relaxed and is sure of her people and surroundings. This girl doesn't have an angry, frustrated or aggressive bone in her body.
This petite little princess will do best in a well run, relaxed home where she'll be handled gently. Having said that, she is more than happy to play with friendly, larger cats and not phased by the presence of feline friendly dogs . She is absolutely fine with children, but will not appreciate or cope with rough handling or grabbing. Cosette is very much a delicate, girly girl kind of cat who WILL make a wonderful companion :-) . Little toys are also popular, and Cosette would love a cat gym/ tower where she can climb up high and enjoy the view.
Adoption details
Trial periods are given to ensure the cat/kitten is the Purrfect Match for your situation and refund is available within the agreed trial period that is geared to suit the individual cat.
If a cat is being adopted sight unseen, as in distance adoptions, we do require a home check to ensure our cats safety.
After indicating your interest in a cat or kitten you wish to adopt we put you in contact with his or her foster carer. You can then organize a meet and greet.
If you decide to go ahead with the adoption you are required to complete the adoption form and transfer of microchip paperwork. The foster carer will have these documents for you to complete or they can be sent to you via email. Payment can be made via direct deposit or cash to the carer.
We have transport opportunities available from time to time.
Cats are sold desexed, first vaccination and micro-chipped. They will be up to date on their worming and flea treatment.
PLEASE NOTE: Unless other wise stated as in the case of BARN/FARM cats.. ALL our cats are for INDOOR HOMES ONLY or specially built cat enclosures.. We rescued them off the street and would think nothing worse that they be placed back there and in danger of all the perils of modern day society. Please respect our wishes with these requirements. We care about our cats and matching the cat to the adopter is important as is the home they are going to.
All ages of cats are an estimate only as per microchip paperwork supplied by council.
