About Paige
Starting life with mum and her two siblings on their own, Paige is now a delightful busy girl, curious and always ready to play. However, so far her curiosity stops at the door. Paige is not so sure about the “great outdoors” that she has experienced
only a few times. “I’ll just stay here on the deck and watch.”
Being an indoor kitten until now, Paige is happy to stay inside and explore anywhere, she can fit and she loves to watch the birds through the window or door. Initially the most shy of the three siblings, Paige is now almost fully confident around humans; and as long as you are gentle and give her time (a day or two) to get used to her new home and human family, she will quickly learn to trust you and will want your attention and cuddles.
Paige likes to lean into her cuddles – so be ready to catch her before she falls over sideways trying to maximise each pat. She still dodges away from a hand coming down on top of her head to pat her, probably because she is little...and humans are big ...
Paige may sometimes forget to sheath her claws when playing, particularly when
she is unsure of things - so maybe while she is still “new” be extra gentle with her.
She does not mean to hurt and if you stop, she will stop. She has not done this with me for a while now, but some gentle guidance might still needed at first.
Otherwise, Paige is gentle and playful and ready to go to a new home and see if she wants to take over ...or just laze around in the sun and watch the world go by.
Please welcome Paige into your home and let her become a loved member of your family – she is cheeky and cute and deserves a wonderful forever home and her own humans to love.
Not used to dogs and other cats. Paige has seen my cats and dogs – but only
from a distance and she goes all fluffy and sideways like a Halloween cat !! Gentle
introductions and patience will help her if you want to introduce her to another cat
and/or dog.
Adoption details
After seeing an animal you are interested in we ask you to fill out an adoption expression of interest form which tells us a bit about you, your lifestyle and any previous pets. A meet and greet is then organised for you to meet your prospective new furry friend and if all goes ok, you are then able to adopt your new furry housemate.
