About Kay is checking out her new home
Kay is a lovely dark brindle girl with a white patch on her chest who thinks being a pet is simply superb. She came in with her litter sister Tessa. We've only just received her, so we're still finding out about her. Check here for more details in a week or so. It is not likely that Kay is cat tolerant.
Greyhounds are calm, gentle friendly dogs. They do not need long walks and are happy with a twenty minute walk once or twice a day.
They can sleep for up to 20 hours per day.
Greyhounds need to remain on lead at all times in public areas, and should only be allowed off-lead in fenced areas. They need to be muzzled in public until they have passed their Greenhounds assessment which gives them an exemption from muzzling.
They are very susceptible to weather, and will need shelter from the elements. During winter they will need a warm coat. They have little padding on their bones and will need a comfy bed all year around.
