About Slate
Slate is a beautiful Russian Blue with green eyes as round as the moon. He has a very long tail and is very tolerant of his kitten foster brother.
Of a night Slate would either like to roam the house or snuggle on a bed with someone in your household. Being completely toilet trained and litter box trained, he is trusting to have in these scenarios.
Slate wasn't a fan of his kitten brother to begin with but within a couple of days he had learned to accept him and will even share his bowl of food with him and will rumble around on the ground with him! Slate is scared of dogs and has taken almost a month to become comfortable enough to roam downstairs. For Slate to be rehomed with dogs, the owners would need to be patient with Slate that he will take a little time to be around the household when the dogs are inside. He would be fine with non-reactive dogs (dogs that show little or no interest) but wouldn't work with an inquisitive dog, overly interested in cats. If your surroundings are safe enough, Slate would be suited to an indoor/outdoor lifestyle.
Slate isn't a chaser therefore I could see him living at peace with a bird or rodent type pets. He likes to play in his tunnel and use his scratch post and is more interested in this type of play than chasing fluff on string.
Slate knows his name and will come when called especially if your calling from the kitchen! He eats dry kibble and a treat of wet food/sardines/roast chicken in the morning and evenings as he came into care underweight.
Slate looks very forward to impressing you with his majestic good looks and chilled out personality.
Medical notes
Slate will come to you desexed, vaccinated, wormed and with no fleas. He has no medical issues.
