Socks

Hi, my name is Socks and I am very cute. Due to ill health my family reluctantly passed me onto SRV for rehoming as I was not getting enough attention. I am a very friendly dog who can become very excitable when greeting in part due to not being walked regularly.

I absolutely love belly rubs and playing with water. Apart from being trained to sit, and drop I really enjoy doing tricks like roll over, spin, up - stand up on hind legs and if you point a finger and say bang - I will roll on my back and play dead. Pretty clever huh. I was assessed by Trish Harris of FourPaws K9 Dog Training who recommends that because I am so athletic with high energy I be given the chance to participate in some canine sports such as agility, flyball or even just as a jogging partner. Whatever form it takes, I require regular, active exercise.

I lived with 2 young children under five and although I loved them I get a bit over excited and jumped up, so would be better with older children.

I like to be fed at 6pm and will have a grizzle if dinner is late. Nor do I like to be outside when dark. \ I love sleeping inside in my crate and am dog friendly, although prefer big dogs like rotweillers to little dogs.
