Alvin is a loyal and protective companion who loves being with people. He is excellent with children and enjoys their company, especially if they can play chasey or fetch with toys.

Being a Jack Russell, he has an assertive personality and therefore needs an experienced home with people who understand how to manage a big personality in a dog. Alvin currently lives with other dogs, a cat and chooks and is able to get along with them all.

Alvin is housetrained and is quiet as a mouse when he comes inside. He is most often found curled up on his bed or trying to sneak onto the couch for a snuggle!

In large groups of dogs, when on lead, Alvin can become uncertain and reactive. He needs a competent handler who understands his needs and can give good leadership. He is currently in training and showing good progress.

Alvin would love to live in a home where he could spend a lot of time with people. He would be happy to have a canine companion and gets along well with most dogs.

Alvin is super smart and easily trainable. In the right hands he'll be an excellent companion who would accompany you on any adventure.
