About Angel ~ Senior Maltese ~ On Trial 29/3/15
Angel is a pint size 13 year old Maltese. Like her name she is a precious little girl and she behaves just like an angel. Being a senior doggie she is so happy to just chill out next to you, or to potter around exploring. Angel still has good energy levels for a girl in her older years, and so she loves getting outside for a little walk every now and then. She loves companionship both from humans and from other doggy friends.
Angel walks really well on the lead and prefers a medium pace, so she doesn’t pull at all. She’s so relaxed and not much fazes her! She is truly an easy going, and unassuming gentle little soul.
At her previous home she was the only dog, however she’s currently in foster care with two smaller dogs and a kelpie cross, and they all adore her! She’s not one for too much playing, but she’s super friendly and laid back with both her canine and human friends.
Angel would love a home where she can retire and relax. She adores being next to you and snuggling on your lap when you’re reading or watching telly. Her beautiful white locks will need some grooming every few months, and regular brushing which she really enjoys – she loves to be bathed and pampered!
Angel will make a great companion for someone who is eager to love her in her older years and be her best friend. If you would love to spoil a senior then Angel is the precious little girl for you.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to phone or email the foster carer listed on the pet's profile (scroll to the bottom on the description). They can answer your questions and will ask you about the sort of home you are offering and may ask you to fill in our Adoption Questionnaire http://www.dogrescuenewcastle.com.au/adopt/adoptionquestionnaire.rtf
(2) If the questionnaire is approved you can arrange to meet the pet, usually at the foster carer's home or nearby.
(3) If that goes well we will arrange a property check so we can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've selected. We will ask to see photo ID.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay for and adopt your new family member! The two week trial begins on the day of adoption.
