Sox is an older Border Collie, who is looking for a new home. He currently lives with a cat and is a big softy around them. He is friendly with all dogs especially small dogs, he loves them, he was a farm dog in his younger years so is good with cattle, and loves to herd chickens free range chickens. Sox loves SHORT walks as he gets tired on longer ones.

Mostly Sox just loves the company of his family or sitting under a shady tree. He will happily sit beside you all day. Sox would be suited to older person/couple looking for a companion dog with low energy. Sox is house trained he will sit at the door until he is invited inside and will bark ONCE to say I need the toilet. Sox is part of the Greencross healthy pets plus program and has his vet visits like clockwork.

We are looking for an owner who can provide Sox with companionship and lots of love. Sox needs a hair cut twice throughout summer as he his a long haired Collie. Sox loves a swim, a car ride or to chill under a tree.
