Peppa

This is Peppa. She is a 14mth old sterilised female Great Dane being rehomed with the assistance of GDLAWA. She is being rehomed due to no fault of her own and it is a regretful rehome.

Peppa likes and is used to children however her previous owners found her too boisterous around their toddler. Whilst this could be addressed with training, she may be better suited to a family with slightly older kids. She’s not had to share a home with cats before.

When I met Peppa, I could see she was a little worried about visiting a new place. \ She warmed to me instantly as I let her come to me and didn't rush up to her. \ She is generally unsure of men at first. She quickly relaxed and happily went on to investigate the environment. When my Dane came out to see her she really lit up. He came over to her and she wiggled all over. Whilst being very excited to meet him she was very respectful and gentle. I can see that she would enjoy the company of another dog but this is not a necessity.

Peppa has been on a premium diet and her condition reflects this, she appears to be in great health. She not a huge girl and I wouldn't expect her to grown much taller.

Peppa will thrive with daily walks and like all dogs would benefit from some regular training, further socialisation and exposure to lots of new sights and sounds . Due to her slightly nervous tendency, we'd would like to see her go to a Dane experienced home to ensure she can move past this and become a well-balanced happy girl in all situations.
